Our History
I3Mation is an artificial intelligence (AI) company, providing process automation and regulatory technologies focused on increasing organizational intelligence and operational efficiency through secure, compliant, and ethical automation. As the first female and minority-owned AI software and advisory services company, original founders, Lisa and JK Sayles have designed hundreds of governance, risk, and compliance management ecosystems in the Financial Service and Healthcare industries and saw the need to apply artificial intelligence and robotic process automation (RPA) to effectively manage the regulatory change process. In early 2016, the couple researched the value of applying AI and RPA to existing governance, risk, and compliance management processes. As a result of their analysis and realized benefits, they founded I3Mation, LLC.
In the second quarter of 2018, they brought on former colleagues, Maddy Balanagu and Charles “Chase” Davis to develop automation models and algorithms to automate regulatory requirements ingestion, legal interpretation, validation, and other GRC workflows. Currently, the company develops reg-tech, canna-tech, and health-tech solutions and has plans to enter into other industries in the future.

As of the 4th calendar quarter of 2018, I3Mation has launched operations in five US states and development operations in Hyderabad India. If needed, the company can scale development operations with its partners in Sri Lanka and Bali, Indonesia.
